Hello,
I am requesting help from an Amazon moderator regarding tax amounts withheld from my Amazon Mexico account.
A total of approximately MXN 844,736.55 was withheld from my disbursements. I have contacted Seller Support several times, but I continue to receive generic policy responses that do not address the specific facts or evidence in my case.
I am aware of at least two other sellers who experienced a comparable tax-withholding issue and subsequently received refunds from Amazon. I have the relevant case numbers, but I will not publish them publicly. I can provide them privately to an Amazon moderator for comparison and verification.
My concern is not simply that my request was rejected. The problem is that Amazon has not provided a case-specific explanation for why comparable cases were refunded while mine is being treated differently.
I respectfully request that a moderator:
1. Escalate this matter to the appropriate Amazon Mexico Tax or Disbursement team.
2. Review the withholding transactions individually.
3. Compare my case with the two comparable cases in which refunds were issued.
4. Provide a written explanation identifying the exact reason, policy and transaction basis if Amazon believes these amounts cannot be refunded.
5. Confirm whether the amounts were actually remitted to SAT and, if so, provide the relevant withholding certificates or official documentation for each period.
I can provide all supporting documents, account statements, tax records, previous correspondence and the comparable case numbers privately.
I am not requesting another generic policy quotation. I am requesting a proper manual review and a clear, case-specific response.
Thank you.
