Amazon listened! No more invoices for used books.

When Amazon started requiring invoices for used books, I set aside the restricted ones, hoping that the situation would change. In the past I have had books that were formerly restricted be approved a few months later. Today I went through all the ones I had set aside to sell on eBay, and I got approved for all but one (Not Available). No invoices were required.

Thank you Amazon for listening to your sellers this time!

I've noticed the same thing for about a week; when I click the drop-down to select "Used", if the greyed out button below says "Apply to Sell", it will change to "Sell this product", without any sort of followup.

I don't know if this is happening across the board, or for only established accounts that used to get approval on basis of performance (except for a few brands), but I'm glad. And like you, I'm planning on going through some of the boxes of books I have set aside that Amazon would not let me list.

I'm hoping that they listened and fixed things, and that it's not another glitch that just happens to be a good one for a change!

Interesting. I've been here for about 20 years without issue and the books I set aside still require approval. These books also have 0 sellers, probably because other sellers cannot list them.

A lot of things may have happened here, but I doubt this,

Amazon listened!

is one of them.

Perhaps, as in "The Wizard of Oz," there are "good glitches" and "bad glitches." Maybe we got lucky!
