Search Results Not Displaying Brand Name
Has anyone gotten this in regards to them removing your brand name in search results, I know of many brands so far, and some of them are the #1 or #2 sellers in their categories, is this another move by amazon to restrict third party sellers in favor of their own brands or amazon vendors?
If you are noticing a drop in sales check your search results...this is too much!
My name is BhXXXXhree, I will be more than glad to assist you today with your query.
I understand you are concerned about the Brand name not appearing on Search Results for the ASIN B084JBWP5K.
I realize the importance that this has for you and I will gladly help you to achieve the best resolution possible and give you the details behind every decision mentioned in this case.
At Amazon, we’re always experimenting with new products and services to provide a better customer experience. We are currently testing a new way to display product titles that removes less recognizable brand names, bringing key customer search terms to the forefront.
Products that will be impacted during the test will be selected at random.
Also I see that your Brand name is a 'noun' attached to a meaning and hence the brand name is not displayed on the search results as customers may have a wrong interpretation of the product.
I recognize that this is not the result that you were hoping for, but I want you to know that I did my best to provide you with the correct information based on our current policies. I appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Holy cow! What happened to brand name being so important? A number of years ago, Amazon really made sure 'brand name' was in every title. Now they are 'experimenting' and we are suffering as a result of this.
Same, with us — we have top selling products in some Home categories. We have brand equity (although apparently not in Amazon's opinion if that is what they are concluding) and we found it is hurting our conversions. Conversion rates have dropped a great deal. This is happening with advertising, too, where we can see actual impressions. The conversions and sales are dropping. This is our bread and butter.
I have been reaching out on this platform (other threads) as well as with Brand Registry and the Catalog team. I've not gotten a satisfying response to why this is happening. What you have shared here is more than what I've received on support cases.
I've asked Seller and Brand Support for our 'brand name' to be put back in the search title but nobody seems to have the tools, or if you are Brand Registry, have any clue what is going on or even recognize the problem, to boot.
If anyone from Amazon can help, I do have a case: 12863213891. Please help if you can. Same with anyone else from the community. Any additional information or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Same issue here. We noticed this the other week seems to be a very recent change. We have definitely noticed a slow down in sales. Our brand has been selling for several years and when people search for a product they no longer see our brand name which they recognize. It is very frustrating to say the least. I have opened up a case with Amazon and so far there is no response. I find it hard to understand that they can just experiment with our business without consent.

I'm glad to know we're not the only ones experiencing this issue. I've submitted a case, and remains under investigation. The answer you received from support is more specific, but concerning. As others have mentioned, we rely on our brand name to be at the forefront and we do get a lot of brand searches. Without it, our listing can be overlooked.
For us, it's only happening to one product, other products are normal with the brand name displayed. However, the one product that its affecting is our hero/best-seller unfortunately. We have been experiencing very slow sales, but whether or not its due to this "experiment" or the economy (or both), I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of the main issues.

Im having same problem and it is effecting my sales , I hope this will be resolved

count me in as part of this recent fiasco. I got a same generic response that made no sense. I told them my brand is also the name of the actual product as the brand is only one particular proprietary item. It isnt a white label product. I wonder if changing the brand setting to the name of my LLC will fix this. This doesnt make sense for products where brand is also the only way to identify the product.

Same here!
We got a response from Amazon on this that it is an 'experiment'...can't fathom how this isn't anti-competitive.
Here is their response:
"This is Ken from the leadership team...
At Amazon, we’re always experimenting with new products and services to provide a better customer experience. 𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨, bringing key customer search terms to the forefront.
As a result of this new experiment we cannot currently disable this. You can periodically review the status of the search results to confirm whether this experiment has ended. Thank you for your understanding."
see the listing with the red bottle at the front. over 50k reviews and millions in sales being severely impacted.

Hello All,
I noticed that our brand name appears in our product title after doing a few searches and trying different web browsers.
The only thing we did was escalate our case with the SAS support team (if you're enrolled in this program). They haven't replied back to the case, so not 100% sure if it was them or if the experiment has actually come to an end.
Anyone else have their brand name showing in their title again?

I have the same problem with my Brand Name being omitted in the title of search results. It has drastically hurt my sales.
Anyone hear any good news about this?

This has also been happening to us over the past 3-4 weeks. Have filed 8 different help desk tickets with brand registry, catalog team and wasted HOURS of time only to get canned responses or people who could care less to resolve or have no idea what is going on. Amazon seller support really is the worst support and if you ever have an issue it's almost impossible to get anything resolved anymore. Now we can only hope that Amazon puts our brand name back into the search results like it has always been because our sales have dropped since this change by 70%. It's ridiculous.

Joining in on the party here. Just noticed this earlier today and was trying to figure out why our brand name wasn't showing but others were. Like everyone said its going to significantly hurt our sales
