Sellers taking big brand names and creating a bundle listing with their own brand name?
So I've come across several listings where a seller will take a few items from a brand and create a bundle listing with his own brand name on the listing or even just a multi-pack of a brand name product but list it with his own brand name. Is this "legal" in the seller department?
It would be essentially as if someone listed 3 Hersheys products as a bundle but labeled their own brand as the brand name on the listing.

The most expensive item in the bundle is the brand the listing must be under. However, people violate rules every day.....you can report the listing on the listing page as "conflicting information" or whatever fits from the pull down, but Amazon is slow to react, if even...

Hello @Seller_2hLsJBEtCZOlj,
Michelle at Amazon here. As @Seller_4zBzdtgCyS9EI stated, the brand should be the most expensive item in the bundle. You can read the Bundling Policy and you can report violations you see through the Report a Violation tool.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Michelle

i guess those sellers philosophy is "gotsta compete with amazon somehow' as amazon is usually the seller who dominates/monopolizes sales of most big name brands and lists prices unreasonably low, and combined with the fact that most brands perpetuate that hostile takeover of retail sales and will deny requests to sell their brand, i say let those sellers
do those bundles and leave it up to the brand owner to make the complaint

AMAZON will not address the issue we have many item we no longer sell on Amazon due to this issue of taking branded items then adding like a pack of stickers to the description total BULL POOP!

well, there are many faces to making profit at that price. Primary one is volume. It works only for high volume sellers.
1. Sell the kind of stuff people are likely to purchases more than 1 from you and make your money on combined shipping (It's the same $3.80 shipping one of these or shipping 3-4)
2. Manufacturer contracts. Not everyone pays the same wholesale. Large sellers usually get better prices then smaller sellers
3. Shipper contracts. Same as manufacturer, UPS and Fedex will give you much better rates if you are a high volume shipper.
4. Loss leaders, again, for sellers that offer products that are likely getting them visits to their store front. If I can get you to walk through the door and see what else I have, you are much more likely to buy more from me and the other pieces wont be dirt cheap.
