Estimated Delivery Times Completely Wrong
I just had to pause thousands of dollars in ad spend a day because my shipping times show delivery in 2-3 weeks which doesn't make any sense. We offer 1-day, 2-day and 3 to 5 day free shipping. This is clearly a bug but my sales have drastically dropped so had to pause ALL ad spend.
Any ideas how to fix this?! We've tried everything! We are merchant fulfilled as it's personalized products!

"Estimated Delivery Times Completely Wrong"
This has been an ongoing issue with Amazon for YEARS. I tried their automated service for a few weeks maybe 6 months ago and the delivery estimates got WORSE!
I am now delaying shipping until the last possible day so that my "GAP" does not go above the magic "2" so that they force me into using all their faulty information/services.
I have succeeded in getting my 'gap' to ZERO and my shipments are STILL arriving over 5 days BEFORE the estimates from Amazon.
I firmly believe that Amazon pads those estimates so that THEY get more orders for themselves and keeps orders from flowing to third party sellers.

Hello @Seller_Zc03MQK22D7jf Thanks for checking in with the forums about your estimated delivery times.
If you are sure that your handling and transit times are accurate for the ASINs in question, you may be seeing promise extensions for your orders and offers,
Promise extensions are additional days that we may add to the delivery date to account for logistical factors that may delay a delivery such as extreme weather, transportation network constraints, or recent history of a seller delivering shipments after their set delivery date.
If you have opened a support case about this issue, please share the Case ID so I can confirm whether promise extensions are being accurately applied to your orders and offers.

Seeing similar here.. Seems like zip codes from zones 5 to 8 are extremely padded.
As of today, ship date of 11/22 is showing as late as 12/4 delivery to the west coast. Some midwest states are showing a 12/2 delivery estimate, when in reality it'll be there either Monday or Tuesday if shipped Friday..
I can understand carrier volume, etc., but this seems like it's padded way too much. AHT & SSA enabled only for the INR protections..

My morning has been spent responding to customer complaints about Amazon's estimated delivery times.
For Expedited Shipping orders I shipped this morning Amazon was showing inaccurate dates for projected delivery - such as 7 days for USPS 2-3 day Priority Mail.
One of my products in Amazon's own Merch program is showing 3 weeks for Prime Delivery - and obviously not getting any sales as a result. Amazon can't point to sellers and say these are sellers faults .
IMHO Amazon has gone off the reservation with its delivery nonsense and trying to over complicate everything. Get rid of the metrics and games with fake delivery dates and go back to the process used earlier this year. Just give customers a fixed broad range of potential delivery dates and save the gazillion dollars being spent on this. Do a simple fixed range that bots can't mess up and stop trying to track, over predict, and metricize everything. It's not working and it's just making sellers and customers mad.
Probably not a coincidence my eBay sales have been accelerating and instead of getting a mountain of customer complaints about delivery times they are being given there are only complements. Simple can be better.

Multiple forum posts about this!
I guess Amazon better rethink this if they want out ad spend.
"I am now delaying shipping until the last possible day so that my "GAP" does not go above the magic "2" so that they force me into using all their faulty information/services."
Also doing this.
I have bad news to Amazon if they doing this our customers will go to our other platforms and they will lose customers.

Just has a situation today where the item was in the buyers cart since the 19th and now I am expected to send it out for monday delivery. Why is the delivery date not based on when payment is rcd not when the order has placed. This seems like a simple solution, its not our fault the buyers original method of payment declined but we have to pay the price.

For us as well. I actually stopped the AHT last night and put it manually to 0. We always ship same day. At the end it didn’t help. We have 3-5 days free shipping and it’s showing delivery in 10 days from today. Sales have been very slow today. Not sure if due to this. Any MOD that can check if it’s bugged?

This is happening to us for 5 weeks on all of our brands products but also on all other listings we sell as well. For example, when viewing the delivery time to a certain zip code today the quoted day of delivery is 12/7/24 using an SSA template from my zip code to the test order zip code.
Test order was placed and after checkout customer was given a delivery date of 12/2/24. I now have the order in my account and I am also required to delivery the item to the customer on 12/2.
One other seller on the same listings who ship from my same area are quoting delivery date ranges of 11/27 to 12/2 to the same delivery zip code. At checkout on the test order to that seller the customer is quoted a delivery date of 12/2/24.
As a test, I priced the product $2.01 lower than the recommended offer but because my delivery date (from the same area in Southern CA as the other seller) is over a week longer than what the higher priced seller is quoting, I am losing the buy box. I have 4672 ratings with a 95% positive while the other seller is priced $2.01 higher, has 1416 ratings at 83% positive. This is happening on 7 other listings that I sell against this seller on as well.
I am hopeful the mod on this chain will look at my case and respond and explain why this is happening.
Case 16710582931
I have attached screenshots of the order and of the ASIN in questions showing all quoted delivery times from each seller in the case.
This has severely impacted my business.

USPS Ground Advantage and Priority are showing the same delivery dates.

We have the EXACT same problem, started a few days ago, they added over a week to our promise extension for no reason, we have very good shipping metrics and well over the 90% threshold, our insights dashboard shows 0.8 day promise extension but in actuality it's over 8 days. It shows that it will take over a week to be delivered to our own address!
We also opened a forum thread about this but as usual it falls on deaf ears, we got the same BS from MODS asking for case ID, we provided the case ID 16704054681, never heard back from MODS. SS gives the same old BS, asking for irrelevant info, when we provide it they ignore us and the case just sits in limbo. That's the MO for SS nowadays....you open an urgent case, they immediately respond asking for irrelevant info, when you provide it they ignore you until you go away...since they did technically respond to the case right away their metrics look good, but nothing ever gets fixed/accomplished.
This seems to be some sort of retribution or revenge on the part of Amazon for who-knows-what...some sellers being singled out, our sales getting ruined at the most important time of the year, and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it....over 15 years on this platform and I've never seen it run so poorly or FBM sellers being treated so badly. All we can do this week is pull all of our ads and take a vacation I guess...at least we had a good year leading up to this, if nothing else it will help us on our tax bill.
Good luck to all who have been targeted by this.
