Has anyone solved the Amazon Buy Shipping UPS Invoice situation for "Missing PLD Fee"
We have been dealing with this situation for 4 days now with no end in sight. We use Amazon's Buy Shipping UPS and have had no problems until we got an invoice for "Missing PLD Fee". We are not using our UPS account (Our account is not linked) but Amazon's Buy shipping UPS account.
First day, Amazon Seller Support told us this fee was based on using a label greater then 100 days old or penalty for shipping item larger then a certain size. Told them neither is possible because we enter dimension and weight for each shipment. They referred us to UPS. We could not find any orders that matched the receiving address and tracking just showed last place scanned for them.
We contacted UPS and they were able to tell us these orders were dropped off in Texas on different occasions. We are 24 hours away in Pennsylvania. They explained that Amazon created shipper accounts for each Amazon account that uses Amazon Buy Shipping UPS that is not a linked account. UPS says they can not validate we did not drop off these packages and Amazon has access to our Shipper Numbers and can see the situation and fix it. They felt 2 accounts may have been tied to the same Shipper Number.
Informed Amazon of what UPS said and after 1.5 hours was directed to Leadership team. Leadership team basic response is this is a UPS matter and without Order ID they can not look into the situation. I laid out entire case of problems with clear concise steps and solutions. Have had a couple Leadership team members respond there is no glitch in Amazon Buy Shipping and they can not investigate without Order ID. After spending 2 days going through orders with no matching receiver address, Amazon will not accept these are not valid.
After creating a UPS account with the shipper number Amazon assigned us, we see we are getting another invoice next week. So this is not an isolated instance and we have seen others on the forum posting on this issue.
Has someone been able to find a solution besides just paying the invoices for shipping on orders that were not yours? Thank you for any insight.
