Receiving incorrect item with wrong LPN

We recently received an FBA return from Amazon. An item we don't even sell and neither the box nor the item had LPN number on them. We created reimbursement request case ID 17496593791 with Amazon Support and they kept asking for the pictures of LPN and items we shared the picture and they kept asking for LPN I responded with the picture of barcode sticker on the box but the agent just closed the case saying we are not responding without even checking the response from our side. We informed Amazon Support that LPN number was not included with the return. Amazon continued to respond with the same canned response requesting the LPN number, and after a few back and forth messages where I informed them there was no way to give them the LPN because it was never on the package or the item. But they again closed the case again saying we did'nt provide them sufficient info to investigate. And this is not just one time. 1 out of 3 of our returns are either switched or damaged but we can't file a claim because they either don't attach LPN or don't send paperwork in it. although this is amazon warehouse's negligence but we end up paying for it. Any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
