How long does it take to ship depends on the seller.
The order detail page will show you both the deadline for shipping and the deadline for delivery.
You must choose a service that meets the delivery time frame.

While some of us have 2 days from the time an order is placed to get it shipped, Amazon is pushing sellers toward 1 day handling time; I don't know what might be available to you as a new seller.
So if someone orders something from you on Monday, you need to ship it by Tuesday or Wednesday (depending on if you have 1 or 2 day handling). It's up to you to figure out how to make your workflow handle that.
As for how much time it takes to do the physical shipping, that is something that you will have to determine for your product. For us, packing up an order can take 2-3 minutes, or sometimes 2-3 hours; it depends greatly on your product and your ability to handle packaging.
