Amazon Policies are designed to screw over 3P sellers.
How is Amazon not screwing it's sellers over with this policy?
We got approval to sell the products, we sourced and shipped the products to FBA. While goods are in transit, we receive notification that goods require Transparency codes and are stranded.
Six boxes of items arrive at FBA sites. You know they are stranded because you told us they are stranded and are unsellable. I try to remove my 6 boxes of goods(216 units total) but I can't remove all my goods because 15 are "lost" and now you want me to reimburse me at 50% normal net value.
All this through no fault of mine. Why were the goods moved in the first place when they arrived at the FBA sites in an unsellable disposition?
This policy allows an opportunity for FBA warehouse staff to mishandled and steal goods belonging to sellers. As sellers we are barely making money as it is and goods that cannot be sold on Amazon because of your nonsensical policies, can definitely be sold on other platforms, but now I don't have a chance to do so and I have to eat the loss.
Why does Amazon treat 3P sellers like this? After goods were checked in during shipment, all 216 units were received and located. If they are unsellable, why are they being transfered and tampered with?

Hello @Seller_lM8R88NNHvuWz,
Thank you for contacting Amazon Forums!
I understand your situation about the items that were lost and the 50% disbursement that you were offered. According to our policies, If an item you send to us as part of the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) service is lost or damaged at a facility or by a carrier operated by Amazon or on behalf of Amazon, we will replace that item with a new item of the same FNSKU or we will reimburse you for it.
See FBA inventory reimbursement policy for more information.
I recommend you to review the following resources that might help you create a claim for the situation occurred:
FBA inventory reimbursement policy: Shipment to Amazon claims
FBA inventory reimbursement policy: Fulfillment center operations claim
If after submitting your claim (if applicable) you still didn't receive the desired outcome, you can always reach out to us through our Seller Support team to help you investigate further and provide support.
I hope this information helps.
Kind Regards!
