Seller Central v. Amazon Business

Hello All ~

I have had a Seller Central account for a little over 2 years now and somewhere along the line an Amazon Business account was opened. It has not been used and I am sure at this point that it is not of benefit to what we are doing.

I recently opened a personal Prime account and if I go into my Seller Central account to view something from the same browser it kicks me out of the Prime account and re-directs it to the Amazon Business account.

I was going to delete the Amazon Business account, but, all indications were that it would close my Seller Central account too.

Support suggested I change the Amazon Business account login email to solve the problem. The problem is it changed my Seller Central account too.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how did you resolve the issue?

I have no answer, as I know nothing about Amazon Business accounts.

But, I DO know that taking the advice of Seller Support reps carries risk. It seems you were lucky here with changing the email, but if they give you further "guidance," please come here and ask about it first...before doing anything.

There is no charge for this invaluable advice. 😎

When you sign up for a Seller account and if you use the same login e-mail as the one for the business account, then they're linked and we are not able to reverse that.

Same applies to creating new seller account with your buyer login, accounts will be linked and the only way around that is to create a new buyer or seller account.
