Using DHL for labels bought through Amazon Buy Shipping to Mexico/Canada
Hello, I was curious about buying labels for international shipping through Amazon Buy Shipping to Mexico/Canada. When I ship international using UPS platform they have you fill out information to print a commercial invoice as part of the label printing process. When I am printing the label through Amazon and DHL is the only option, there is no step to print a commercial invoice. Is the commercial invoice already included with DHL shipping? Is the packing slip sufficient, if that is included? I am not seeing clear information for this online. Any information on this is appreciated. Thanks

I bought an int'l DHL Express label from Amazon which was $22 for a 1 lb 7 oz book to Australia. Then I spent most of my afternoon figuring out what Australia needs for customs. I created a commercial invoice (I used a free WORD template). I also used a template for an invoice from DHL Express Int'l "Global Customs Customer Guidelines" . I used the info on "Seller Central Help Amazon Global Selling" to ID customs docs for seller-fulfilled items. And, yes, do include the packing slip in the package, but it is NOT enough since it does not have customs info on it.
Helpful info: The ARN (ATO REF NO) for Amazon is 3000 1599 7688
The GST collected by Amazon is the sales tax
Look up the HS codes online - Eg: Books are 4901.99.10.30
Include on the invoice the number of items, cost, weight, country of origin, detailed description of items
If you use Fulfilled by Amazon, they will do the customs docs for you. If you ship yourself, and use DHL Express - use their website and Seller Central for guidance. It's cheaper to buy a DHL shipping label from Amazon, but you could buy one directly from DHL, and then complete the customs info on their website. That option would cost you more, but save you time.
