A parent ASIN is a place holder. You cannot have inventory for a parent. You need to have children ASINs/variations. Those are fulfillable.

Thanks for reaching out with your question. @Seller_z3XfkorVSmnEY is correct that your Parent listing cannot be converted to FBA as it isn't a "real" listing. Only Children listings can be converted to FBA. However, the Parent should still manage your variation, even if you have converted the listings or creating separate offers for both Merchant Fulfilled and Fulfilled By Amazon listings.
