Children toys compliance documentation
Hello,
I am a new seller on Amazon and I am trying, selling a couple of different items to see how fast they will be sold to learn what I should sell to get more profit. I have bought 20 baby rattle socks and wrist bands to sell on amazon. Similar products are already being sold on Amazon that look similar to mine. So I believe other sellers are also buying from a manufacturer on Alibaba and make them their own brand and sell them on Amazon. On the manufacturer profile it has been written that the products has 2 certificates. EN71 which is a European standard for toy safety, and ASTM. Now Amazon does not allow me to list my product because I do not have the Canada children toy compliance documentation! My question is when a product has EN71 certificate, why Amazon does not allow it to be sold here in Canada? Does it mean the European countries do not care about the health of their infants? My other concern is that why Amazon does not make such onformation "visible to public" on the profile of the products that are being sold on Amazon so that I as the seller know that all sellers are being treated equally. I say this because as I have learned so far Amazon treats the sellers who are experienced different from the new sellers. There are many items that I, as a new seller, need to request for approval in order to be able to sell them, but same products are already unrated for experienced sellers!?
