Requested remeasurement but Amazon says inventory is not in stock

I've requested a remeasurement of FBA inventory that my ledger shows as in stock and available but Amazon has repeatedly replied that it is not in stock for remeasurement. The item shows for sale on the web when I search it but I'm not selling many. What is going on?
