ASTM F963-17 no longer accepted for children's toys manufacturered before April 2024?
I have multiple products that were manufactured before 2024, and the compliance reports I submitted were based on ASTM F963-17 rather than ASTM F963-23.
Just a month ago, I checked the Children's Toy Policy Compliance section on Seller Central Help, and it stated that products manufactured before 2024 were eligible for testing under ASTM F963-17. However, when I checked today, that information is no longer available. It now only mentions that ASTM F963-23 is required.
When was this change implemented? Does this mean that, from now on, all products—regardless of whether they were manufactured before or after 2024—must be tested under ASTM F963-23?
Additionally, what about products that were manufactured before 2024 but tested after April 2024? Which version of the standard applies in this case?
If ASTM F963-17 is still acceptable for products manufactured before 2024, what types of documentation does Amazon accept as proof of the manufacturing date? My submissions keep getting rejected...
