Buyer trying to scam for free product replacement
I just had a buyer initiate a return for a light fixture. The return reason is that it was missing parts or accessories. He stated that it was missing a screw. However, I tracked the item and it has not even been delivered yet. It is due to be delivered tomorrow. He has also requested a replacement so I am guessing he is trying to get a free light fixture. I spoke with Amazon support by phone trying to get the associate to cancel the order, however they stated that they can not cancel the replacement order on their end. They informed me that the buyer has to cancel. That is absurd because if he is trying to scam me there is no way that he is going to cancel it on his end. I need Amazon to cancel this fraudulent replacement request because if I cancel it, it will negatively impact my Second-Day shipping performance. Does anyone have any suggestions? Can a moderator on here assist me with this please. I have the case # in which I spoke with the Amazon associate. Thanks everyone
