Action required for pest control product listings on Amazon.ca
Hello Sellers,
As part of our ongoing efforts to protect our customers and enhance the customer experience, Amazon is updating the requirements to offer pest control products (also known as pesticides) for sale in the Amazon.ca store. This may affect some products you offer or have previously offered for sale in the Amazon.ca store.
In Canada, a “pest control product” includes: (a) a product that is manufactured, represented, distributed or used as a means for directly or indirectly controlling, destroying, attracting or repelling a pest or for mitigating or preventing its injurious, noxious or troublesome effects; (b) an active ingredient that is used to manufacture anything described in (a); and (c) any other thing that is prescribed by law to be a pest control product. All pest control product listings in the Amazon.ca store must comply with applicable Canadian laws and Amazon’s pest control product policy. This policy prohibits the Amazon.ca sale of Commercial, Restricted and Manufacturing class pest control products. It also requires every seller who wishes to list a Domestic class pest control product for sale in the Amazon.ca store to upload an image of the product label to the product detail page.
The product label must clearly show English and French text, a valid Pest Control Product Registration Number (if applicable), the class designation (e.g., Domestic), and claims compliant with Health Canada requirements.
If your product has been identified by our team as a pest control product that is permitted for sale on Amazon.ca, you will be receiving a message outlining what, if any, steps to take to bring your product into compliance.
For more information, see our Help Page: Amazon’s Pest control products and pesticides.

@Ricardo_Amazon, I keep getting this email for one of my ASINs, it is a car wash soap that is incorrectly categorized as pesticide.
And nobody at seller support seems to be able to fix the issue.
It is not a pest control product nor contains any ingredients as well, and they keep asking for the Pest Control Product Registration number that complies with health canada requirements, which doesn't exist.
It's a car wash soap that removes dead bugs off the front of your car, and seller support can't seem to figure that out.

Hi, I keep getting this email for a Pest Control Product that I am selling. I have uploaded the necessary images for this product, yet I keep on getting the same email over and over again. In addition to that, the email says that the listing will be removed on July 28th. I created a case (ID - 13279833811) for it but there has been no response related to this case either. Kindly please assist me as to what needs to be done to resolve this.

Hello all,
Just wanted to let you know I am expecting an update from our Restricted Products team by tomorrow.
Apologies for this taking longer than expected.

Hello @Ricardo_Amazon
I just received the email and I didn't understand it very well. Should I change the photo of the product in the ad? Or should I write a description in English and French and send it as a PDF? Can you explain?

Hello @Ricardo_Amazon
Can you help me with this ticket # 14013777671 ? They classified my new product as pesticide again which is not. I didn't receive any warning. The ASIN was suppressed right away and I needs it to be reinstated asap. Restricted Products team is taking so long to open the tickets. Submitted multiple tickets for this issue but I think no one wants to understand it and giving me a copy/paste reply and they're replying with a wrong ASIN. Thank you.
