Concern regarding high advertisement charges and billing transparency for new seller
I am a registered Amazon seller .I have noticed extremely high advertisement charges compared to my actual sales during the period March 1, 2025 to October 2, 2025.
According to my account statement:
Cost of Advertising: ₹30.042.49
Total expenses (including Amazon service fees, selling fees, FBA fees, shipping, and taxes): ₹36,795.90
This advertising cost alone accounts for nearly 80% of my total expenses, which is disproportionately high and affecting my ability to operate business & profitably as a small seller.
I believe this is unfair and non-transparent cost of advertisements on the Amazon platform.

Hello @Seller_MdXXiquNiGpSX,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and you should be able to review a full itemized view of your statements in the "Transaction View," tab of "Payments," in Seller Central. While looking at that view, you can reference/get explanations of what you are seeing by using the Transaction View help page. You can also download your statements and I find the Download payment reports help page great for definitions of the fields you are seeing in those reports.
Advertising cost will be displayed under "Expenses."
If after reviewing you are still seeing mistakes or cost that does not align, I recommend opening a seller support case to submit your inquiry. When opening a case, it would be best to provide as specific detail as possible so support knows exactly where to look so, at a minimum you should provide the statement period, discrepancy and transaction type with the associated date.
I hope this helps with how and who to report to and please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Best, Dougal

Amazon has recently launched Adaptive Campaigns, you can try them out

You need to analyse your campaigns and pause those which are not working.

Acos monitoring and optimization is the key to be profitable on amazon especially when you are small volume and lower turn over seller.
