Hidden Amazon Marketplace Monthly Fees

Hi everyone,

We recently discovered monthly fees being charged for regions where we do not actively sell, specifically in the UK (-$40.32) and Japan (-$51.00), as reflected in our Seller Central account balance. Our sales are exclusively in the U.S. and Canada, and these charges are both unexpected and unexplained.

We only have a professional seller account for the Americas. What’s confusing is that UK and Japan shouldn’t even be able to charge us, as they do not have our credit card information linked.

We are seeking guidance on how to:

Identify the source of these hidden fees. (Customer support for US, UK & Japan all deny responsibility)

Cancel or stop any unnecessary charges for inactive or unused regions.

Ensure accounts or services tied to regions like the UK and Japan are fully disabled to prevent further charges.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? What steps did you take to resolve the issue? We’ve already reached out to Amazon support but as usual they are not helpful.
