No green banner displayed for my coupon promotion
This is for the Canadian marketplace. When I set up a coupon promotion for my product I don't get the bright green banner that says'25% off with coupon'. It just shows up under the price as faded grey text that says '25% off coupon applied'. It doesn't catch the eye at all like the green banner does. And I don't know why the coupon is automatically applied. With the green banner version the customer has to click to apply the coupon. With mine it's already applied. I can't see anywhere in the settings to make changes that would affect how the coupon is displayed. My products are in the 'Handmade' category. I don't know if that has anything to do with this issue.

Hi @Seller_pQ9pz1Zwc5xKd,
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the display of your coupon promotion on the Canadian Amazon Marketplace. We understand your concern about the visibility of your coupon, and we appreciate you taking the time to provide detailed information about your experience.
Based on your description, it seems that the coupon for your product in the Handmade category is being automatically applied, resulting in a faded grey text display instead of the more eye-catching green banner. This behavior may be due to the category or specific settings associated with your product listing.
While we cannot provide a definitive answer without further investigation, we would like to offer some potential explanations and resources that may help address this issue:
- Category-specific settings: The Handmade category on Amazon may have different settings or requirements for coupon displays compared to other categories. It's possible that the automatic application of coupons is a feature specific to this category, designed to streamline the customer experience.
- Coupon eligibility requirements: As mentioned in the previous comments, Amazon has implemented new pricing requirements for coupons, effective March 12, 2024. These requirements include a sales history for the product, a minimum discount percentage, and a promotion price lower than the "was price" or the recent lowest price. If your product does not meet these requirements, the coupon display may be affected.
- Seller Central settings: It's worth checking your Seller Central account settings to see if there are any options or preferences related to coupon displays that you can adjust.
To better understand and potentially resolve this issue, we recommend reviewing the following help pages:
Understanding coupon errors: This page provides detailed information about coupon eligibility requirements and error messages, which may shed light on your specific situation.
Amazon policy on reference prices: This resource explains how the "was price" is calculated, which is crucial for meeting the coupon pricing requirements.
If, after reviewing these resources, you are still unable to resolve the issue or have additional questions, we encourage you to contact Amazon Seller Support. They can provide personalized assistance and investigate the matter further based on your specific account and product details.
