Amazon Facebook Page
I looked at the Amazon Facebook Page this morning to check once more to see if they have updated the page since the last post in January. Still no and still the same Christmas/Hanukkah holiday banner on top. About a month ago I emailed the contact that was on the FB page and asked them to update it. Crickets.
I opened up a case this morning, 15076899071, under "selling on Handmade" other.
I sent a message asking them to contact the Handmade administration so that they could have someone update the Facebook page and any other social media for Handmade.
First response was an AI answer gving me suggestions on my social media. I guess it did not comprehend what I was asking. I contacted them back and asked for a real person.
I got an answer back from a person that said it was not their job to help with social media.
I contacted them back and asked them to please send me the information for getting in touch with the person who is in charge. I would be happy to take 2 minutes of my time to shoot them an email to remind them to update the Amazon Facebook page. I have not heard back yet.
It is disgraceful to have over 1 million followers and not properly take care of this incredible resource for promoting the Amazon Handmade category. @Priscilla_Amazon - Do you think you could find out and ask them to update it?

@Seller_hfmMmH8f6bDeQ Handmade hub hasn't been updated since Feb 8th. Still advertising Valentines Day. Amazon Handmade is a total ghost town scenario.
The lack of response is quite deafening.

Good news. I received another reply to my last message to seller help. "This is Raquel, it is my pleasure to assist you today.
I understand you have contacted us because of your concerns about the Amazon Handmade Facebook page.
Our Category Merchant Manager [Moderator Edit: removed personal information] has confirmed that she will share this anecdote with our team and they will take action."
Hopefully someone on "the team" will come up with something new. Maybe they will also update Seller Hub as well.

I think that if the most current post on the facebook page were to get, let's say, a constant barrage of replies, it may get the attention of the admins. Of course they may just block replies or remove the page altogether.

3 weeks have gone by - Still no update on Facebook.com/amazonhandmade. I do understand priscilla_amazon, that there is a special page called Handmade Artisan Advantage which gives info to the artisans in handmade. It has 15K likes and 25k followers. This is directed to artisans, not buyers.
The page I am concerned about is the Amazon Handmade Page. This is the page that buyers would look up to see, not artisans. It is the page that could feature the items that handmade sellers sell. It has over a million potential buyers!. This page needs a FULL TIME editor to keep the negative and spam posts off of there. It is terrible what some are people are writing for all to see in the comments. Hasn't anyone looked at these comments?
The managers of Amazon Handmade need to understand that this is a great resource. It is being wasted.

I saw in another thread that they have removed or dismantled the handmade team that markets for handmade. Its no more. There are very little no concerted efforts to promote- advertise- social media amazon handmade anymore. The Amazon Instagram page is getting close to 1 year to now with no posting activity. ( I was even a featured artisan twice) Since last august I noticed a downturn in my sales and I had a bestseller for 3 years .... it has slowly died down to maybe a couple of sales a week. My other listings that still sold- sell nothing now. I was told that "I" went into my account and changed my style key words 3 days in a row in October. I told the support person I did no such thing. That is when my sales took a screwball turn downhill and have not recovered. Noone cares and they have outsourced us as the redheaded step children to support personnel who don't even understand the rules and logistics or knowledge of handmade.
