Using both GTIN and FNSKU on the packaging
I created a listing but somehow missed changing it to an Amazon barcode as it shows manufacturer barcode. Now I am not able to switch it. I already created the listing and do not want to re-create it worrying if for some reason the GTIN code I used may not be re-usable again.
Is it possible to add both GTIN and the FNSKU barcode to the packaging design so I am covered. For example, If Amazon later wanted me to switch to Amazon barcodes, then I would be covered. Is this a good solution or should I go for creating a new listing and risk losing the GTIN #?

That is correct. Usable ONCE.
Where does it show manufacturer barcode?? You need a UPC from GS1 just for creating the listing. On the listing in your "Manage All Inventory" you see the FNSKU = Amazon barcode.
On the product package you put OR the UPC OR the FNSKU, noth both.
Btw: It seems this is not your PL product. So, why do you need a new UPC, doesn't the product already have one? Doesn't it sell already on Amazon? do you have a "Letter of Authorization" from the brand owner? VERY IMPORTANT.
Go in your seller central, scroll down to “Learn”, click Seller University and watch all the videos. That will take 2-3 months. You are not ready to sell. Selling on Amazon needs a lot of learning. Read this forum daily, write keywords in the search bar in seller central and study the help pages that show up. If you don't do all this, your account will be suspended without doubt soon or late.
