Oversize Dimensional Weight Calculation for SIPP products with height less than 2 inches
Amazon claims to follow industry standards for calculation of dimensional weight. For oversize items with a height less than 2 inches UPS, FedEx, and USPS all calculate dimensional weight based on actual height while Amazon calculates the dimensional weight based on a minimum height of 2 inches. This is understandable if the product had to be shipped in another box with a minimum height of 2 inches but it should not be calculated in this manner for Ships in Product Packaging Products where the height is less than 2 inches. This is causing the FBA fee to be an additional 10 to 15 percent higher. Amazon please change this policy.
