Refund for stolen money, yes YOU Amazon
I clicked a link in an email offer for a FREE business account. I signed up for the FREE business, which is costing me $39.99, although I previously spoke to an agent who assured me that I would not be charged and could change my seller profile after activation. Well, here I am because Amazon lied, and their agents lied. Amazon refuses to refund me the money they stole because:
Excuse #1 - you have an invalid card on file.
Excuse #2 - you have a professional seller status
Excuse #3 - your tax information is not complete
My answer: refund the card you charged the $39.99 from for the only active seller market to which it applies. Most importantly, you charged me for a FREE business account. Unless the definition of free has changed, I shouldn't have been charged to begin with. My seller status says "professional (individual from next billing date)," which means I have obviously changed to individual.
But none of this matters to Amazon or their agents because who cares about doing the right thing, having integrity, or doing a good job that doesn't require you to veer off script? Shout out to Shankar for ending the conversation in the middle of my trying to resolve it. You clearly had matters of greater importance to attend to, like working fo-, I mean hanging with Bezos.

Amazon will not refund the payment already made. The reason being, if you knew what you were doing you counld have 10,000 live listings right now. If you downgraded to the individual account, you will not be billed next month.
