AWD Blocking SKUs from going to FBA... cuz of "COVID19"?!

I just got an email from AWD that said "AWD has detected issues with 2 SKU(s) in US that will prevent these SKUs from being replenished into FBA."

In the table listed.. the issue was "COVID19_LIMIT_EXCEEDED".

When I go into AWD's dashboard to look at the blocked SKU, it gave details: "This product has a maximum inventory level and exceeds the allowed quantity. View the maximum inventory level on the Restock Inventory page."

What does this even mean?

I received the same email.

The interesting thing is that when I go the AWD dashboard, for one of the products I see both the "...exceeds the allowed quantity" and the "AWD low stock" messages!

It seems like it's a bug/glitch in the system

I have a response from seller support -

After investigating your case, we found that these SKUs are currently blocked from being sent to prevent significant excess inventory levels. This restriction is in place to help avoid high storage, removal, liquidation, and other costs for your business.

This doesn't make any sense.

1. What if I have anticipation of a massive off-Amazon marketing campaign that will surge sales in a way that your algorithm doesn't anticipate based on past sales? I'm going to just be stuck running out of inventory? These kind of limitations was not what I signed up for when I signed up for AWD.

2. There is no mention of what level of FBA inventory for these 2 blocked SKUs will we need to be at for the replenishment to be unblocked.
