Invalid credit card despite being charged

Hi ,

I've been facing the "invalid credit card" error on my account since start of DECEMBER last year. My card was charged in December and just yesterday but its frustrating that Amazon has not returned my account despite the multiple charges. I do not have a credit card but previously there was no issue with that. I received an order in December and because Amazon took so long to resolve, my order had to be cancelled since I cannot log in to view details.

I checked my information and there is no mistake. I even re-updated my card and Amazon was able to successfully charge my card. If there is really an issue, Amazon will not be able to charge my card at all.

The partner associate also confirmed on 4 December 2023 that the debit card is being accepted at the moment and they have changed my card status to confirmed so the account is verified in 24-48 hours and I can log in again. I've waited since then and my account is still not activated.

I've seen multiple people here raise the cases and it seems Amazon has a technical issue. The partner associate also admitted in email that there is a subset of sellers facing this 'Invalid credit card' issue. Its ridiculous how long they take to resolve and we have to raise multiple cases to contact for customer support hearing the same answers from everyone telling us to wait.

Amazon keeps charging to the card and I can't even view business reports to find out what exactly got charged. Also, I received emails that they can't disburse funds to me because my card charge failed. And even after the card was successfully charged, I am still unable to find out if my funds are going to be returned or not.

How can I find an urgent solution to prevent damage to my account? There is no number to call and despite requesting for Amazon to call me to follow up, they always only email me back.

This is literally DAYLIGHT ROBBERY, charging amount to multiple sellers' accounts yet despite raising several cases our account is still not returned..

As you can see from the various replies from Amazon partner associates, they all confirmed that my card should work fine and my account should be returned..YET ITS STILL NOT SHOWING UP ON MY ACCOUNT.

When creating an account with Amazon, You must have a valid credit card or valid debit card information on file. You will also want to check your Amazon Buying account to make sure your financial information is up to date first, before updating your selling account financial information.

The process after uploading the information may take some time. Once it has been uploaded, do not attempt to change the information again until you receive a notification from the team that you credit card or debit card information has been verified.
