Amazon is making me Fraud? I am asthonish
I have just registered as a seller in Amazon. They asked me all the data and i submited it. They sent me a letter by a courier to verify my address.
in the letter were a number that i need to introduce and i got verified. Then they charged me 39 us$ in my account. until this point is correct.
But in less than 30 minutes, they deactivate me asking me to validate my address again. hu? I can change of address in 30 minutes? I send again all the documents. They only answer with an automated message saying i must do the same process again (and pay again of course).
Meanwhile i tried to read customer support, but no alive person to deal with my problem, just automated answers
I locate a forum to submit technical questions to amazon. they charge me 5 us$ to send a question. What?
Is this an ongoing scam or fraud from Amazon?

Hi @Seller_uOAozjfGgkVCD
Connor from Amazon here, thanks for reaching out.
Your account appears to be in registrations status and I cannot view detailed information until the account setup has been completed.
We do not charge sellers to reach out to seller support, you may have clicked on the wrong link or used a website thats not managed by Amazon.
All of our support requests can be made through this link:
https://sellercentral.amazon.com/cu/contact-us
Again we don't charge for any questions, so I am not sure where the $5 per question information is coming from.
As for the account deactivation, you could have had an account in the past and your current one is now linked or related to it via e-mail, phone number, address or other details. We have mechanisms on the back end that check for multiple accounts and that could be why you got prompted to verify your information or address.
Also, I advise you against using third-party services for your account related needs, those can be bad actors that want your account information in order to steal your personal details. Use the support link above to get in touch with Amazon associates directly.
Let me know if you have any other questions or need further assistance,
Connor

People Google for "Amazon account verification" (or "Microsoft Windows won't authenticate" or whatever) and scam support sites show up because neither Google nor the tech companies police the results.
