Fed Ex One Rate, Bring your own box?? Is that true?

According to Amazon when choosing FedEx One Rate we can bring our own box size. Is that true? Because according to FedEx website you have to use their boxes in limited sizes.

I have not been using the One Rate because I dont want to get charged a couple months down the road with the Amazon corrections to shipping.

Good question and I don't know the answer...but responding here so I'll get notified when someone else posts.

FedEx hasn't worked for us here, so rarely even think about it any more. But the other day, Amazon's Buy Shipping gave us the option to use OneRate. Great...what size box? No idea. Looked at the FedEx website and see that there a different OneRate sizes. Problem is, Amazon doesn't tell you which box it assumes you're shipping in. I liked it better when Amazon told you the shipping box dimensions (USPS Priority Mail, etc)

Hello @Seller_BnVVYb6FZYIJz Thanks for checking in about FedEx One Rate. There have been some recent changes for that service, which were covered in the below news post:

Update to FedEx shipping methods on Amazon Buy Shipping

"While FedEx One Rate has already been available on Amazon Buy Shipping, it's more accessible now. As long as your package dimensions are within the One Rate package type range, One Rate shipping options will be available to you for predictable shipping costs that don't require calculating."
