Created a second account
I opened my first account a couple weeks ago (haven’t sold anything but added products). The account was giving me some issues with LTL carriers being unavailable and about a week later my status for Canada and US became Inactive while Mexico remained active. I reached to to an agent and was told to start re-verification but when I clicked the link provided it would take me no where. The agent recommended I open a second account so I did so with a new email address, my LLC info which I didn’t have previously, and same address/phone number. Will there be limitations on the new account? And should I deactivate the first? What should be my next steps, I am concerned because I intend to sell the same products I added in my first account. I still haven’t been approved on my new account, should I be concerned?

The second account will be suspended if you do not get the first account fully activated. Neither account can ever interact and they must sell completely different products.

Hi @Seller_yeDMHbwy8Q0XF
Connor from Amazon here, thank you for the question. You may only maintain one Seller Central account for each region in which you sell unless you have a legitimate business need to open a second account and all of your accounts are in good standing. If any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate all of your selling accounts until all accounts are in good standing.
Examples of a legitimate business justification include:
* You own multiple brands and maintain separate businesses for each
* You manufacture products for two distinct and separate companies
* You are recruited for an Amazon program that requires separate accounts
Please reference the resources below for more information on this as well.
Comply with Amazon’s Multiple Account policy
Address a Multiple Account Policy violation
Selling policies and seller code of conduct
Please let me know if there are any other questions.
Thanks,
Connor
