Selling Shoes FBA

Hello everyone!

I am interested in selling shoes and have some questions about the process.

I know that shoes must be in their brand box with a lid. But do they also have to have the brand's tag on them too?

For example, at the Nike store they have shoes in boxes with and without the tag on them. As long as they are in the Nike box is that all that matters? Or do they need to have a tag on the box or a tag on the shoe itself?

Thank you in advance:)

First Step: Put your account on vacation hold and spend a month in Seller University. Also read on the forums here. Ignore everything you learned on Facebook/TikTok/YouTube. Following your path will most likely lead to suspension.

What you are asking about is Retail Arbitrage (RA). You will be buying retail goods and then reselling them (as new) on Amazon without proof you own the products (a wholesale Invoice, not a receipt). They will not be covered by any manufacturer's warranty. Odds are, you do not have the Brand's permission to sell on Amazon. If you send them in to FBA Amazon will probably seize your inventory when Nike complains and you will not be compensated.

You have simply been lucky so far.

There are many many forum stories of woe due to selling Nike.

If/when they do notice you buzzing around, you will be swatted.

Greetings @Seller_bsdpAm2LorcoU,

In addition to what's been shared already, I want to point specifically to this Seller University course: Guidelines to source products to sell on Amazon. To ensure your success on Amazon, I recommend following those guidelines to a T (so to speak). The details regarding invoice requirements are particularly important when it comes to properly sourcing your inventory. I hope this information helps!
