FC Transfer Vanishing

Amazon has many sellers' units being transferred between their large network of Warehouses at any given time.

Officially, Amazon keeps track of the total count that is in FC transfer under the Inventory ledger report. However many times, the units mysteriously disappear from that report and mysteriously show up later (in some cases 3 months later).

This means that there is no way for any of us to know his full amount of units with Amazon (needed for general accounting and for year end fillings).

Even worse is, that many times, there are some losses in the FC transfer process. Due to Amazon just keeping track of the local count (and not link each in to each out), there is no way to identify which FC transfer out was not received and thus lost..

So what I do is download all the FC transfers and calculate ALL that were taken OUT then deduct all that were received. Many times I stay with a minus and do not find that minus to be in the inventory ledger sheet, thus it's a loss..

I reach out to amazon seller support and they ask me, "which transfer out was lost".... How am I supposed to know that?

Moreover, Amazon policy allows requests for reimbursement only between 60-120 days for FC transfer losses, now I do not know which transfer was lost so how exactly do I know when to submit a claim..

Spoke to one rep (ID 17123152251) and she (Audrey) told me that indeed every seller should once a month submit ALL their FC transfer out to seller support requesting to confirm that those transfer OUT were received (so you don't lose the 60 day timeframe)..

This makes no sense, meaning that I have to submit hundreds of support request daily for all my FC transfers..

Anyone?

Greetings @Seller_nvhmTra9Zn8cd,

Thanks for posting, and welcome! This has been raised previously in a few threads in the past few months - for example: Warehouse transfer not showing in inventory or as FC transfer. I reached out to the internal team who acknowledged the feedback and are working on the issue - though the unfortunately can't provide a resolution timeline. Once I have more information I will post a thread here on the forums notifying the community. Thanks again.
