Do I need to return items from FBA if creating a new ASIN
I understand I need to create new ASINs for my listings in order to use my registered brand name. I have 10 children under one parent with quite a lot of inventory. Would I need to create a removal order for all of these or is there anyway for Amazon to label with my new ASIN?
The packaging has my brand name on it and so nothing is changing except for the ASIN, so it would save a lot of time & money to just label with the new ASIN.
A little back story .... When I originally applied for brand registry 1-2 years ago, I had requested to update my brand name and it was done for my other listings, except for this parent ASIN and the its children. Not sure how I missed it, but now I understand the policy has changed and I have to change the ASIN, thus losing all my positive reviews and feedback. Very heartbreaking but I am now dealing with people hijacking my listing and changing my product photos so it has to be done. Just hoping there's a way around sending back all the inventory or maybe some other solution where Amazon can make an exception and update to my brand name. Sorry for the long post but hope someone can help!

Oh, you could change from "Generic" to your brand. You were very lucky, and yes that's no longer possible.
Indeed, you understood well:
And yes, you will loose the reviews but NOT the feedback, which is seller feedback and not related to the products.
Knowing Amazon, what do you think? Do they make exceptions?
Why you need to hurry up? Sell out your "Generic", in the meantime create your branded listings. When you see that the generic will end soon, you send in the new inventory.
