Question about template customization:
"By the way, is it possible to choose a template (customize) when listing products via CSV? Similar to selecting 'Migrated Template' in 'Merchant Shipping Group'?"

I have been experiencing the same. Started a batch at 9:55am with 3 items to be updated with just new descriptions and at 2:31pm it still is in processing.

Today, I tried listing via CSV again, and it felt much faster. It took about 5 minutes to complete a file
