Is brand name case sensitive?
Hello,
We still haven't applied for Brand Registry as we have a few questions and support wasn't clear about the problem we have. We still haven't registered our brand in a trademark office as we're not sure whether our logo is ok to do it. To make it clear:
- Our current brand name on Amazon is FUN2BEMUM (upper case) and in our logo we have fun2bemum (lowercase). We can't change the design of the logo for uppercase as it's financially impossible, we would have to change all our branding including website, labels etc. Can you confirm that when we register our brand in Brand Registry program our current brand name on amazon has to match exactly the brand name we registered in trademark office including capitalization?
I will be grateful for all your help

It is not Amazon who will decide if your brand is OK or not. You have to apply for a trademark at the USPTO and THEY will accept or not. AFTERWARDS you can enroll in Amazon's brand registry.
Yes, this is the case. Including capitalization.

Hi there!
As far as I know, you can contact support and ask them to help you change the brand name capitalization from all caps to lowercase.
Amazon doesn't allow to change the brand name, but it is allowed to update it if there was a typo or wrong capitalization.
So in my understanding, you can provide them your trademark number (if you'll already have it), website and explain that the brand name is the same but there is mistake on Amazon with all caps and they should accept this change and update it for you

Thank you for the insights @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC & @Seller_j37Nq3vijPtZB
While the below statement @Seller_j37Nq3vijPtZB made is true, what @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC said is also true. As long as your trademark and brand registry application match with the capitalizations, you should be good to go!
Let me know if you have any further questions.
