HELP WITH ADDING NEW MARKETPLACE: "We have detected that you have started registering in a different marketplace previously..."
Hi -- I have been trying to add Australia as a marketplace for weeks now and we keep getting the error message "We have detected that you have started registering in a different marketplace previously. You need to complete your registration in the first marketplace before you can expand to a new one. You can also start the registration in the current marketplace using a different email address."
However, we have never started the registration before. I have had a couple of cases open in a couple of the marketplaces we are currently in. However, every time they say we need to contact Seller Central Australia.
However, because we don't have a selling account there, the only thing we can do is go to Amazon Australia's generic customer service. Talked to a few people via chat and nothing has come from it.
Getting desperate here.

Seller support should be able to assist with this, did you submit a case already via this link? I know you said you had few cases open but they shouldn't redirect you to AU support as our teams can transfer cases between support queues. You are welcome to share case IDs with me here and I will be happy to take a closer look.
