Help! Listing is going to be shut down due to FCC ID
Two of my listings were flagged in error. The system/Amazon is asking for me to update the FCC ID or they’ll remove the listings. The problem is they don’t have a signal so they dont have an ID. They are not electronic, they don’t have any power source or battery. They work with device that emits radio signals and I think the issue is that compatibility is discussed in the listing and the bots picked up that. I have not capable of emitting in the listing, but surprise surprise seller support isn’t listening. They said they will remove the listing when the grace period has passed unless I put in the ID. Anyone know how to get this fixed?

Hi @Seller_PEUWCyI31GdTY,
Thank you for your post. Based off what you have shared, it seems as though you may be dealing with restricted products issue, specifically regarding FCC compliance. This usually has something to do with a radio frequency issue.
Restricted product violations are usually triggered by some kind of keyword or phrase. Therefore, editing the listings to remove the keywords is one way to dispute the violation. While making these changes, please keep in mind that attached bullet points may also need to be addressed.
In addition to documenting your changes, you may also want to provide photographs of the product itself. It is recommended to provide photos of the packaging as well as the actual product (an example would be if your product is a bottle of pills, provide a photo of each panel of the box containing the bottle as well as the bottle itself).
Excellent observation. This very well could be the reason for your violation. To address this, you can provide a written description of the products showing their designs and intended purposes. Within these descriptions, you can explain how your products do not violate our Restricted Products Policy.
If your product falls under an exemption, please provide documented proof of this. Screenshots from the FCC website (along with corresponding URL) and/or certifications showing the exemption are examples of what would be required in this case.
You will then want to submit all of this data along with a written explanation breaking down each of these supporting documents explaining each individual purpose of this product and how it does NOT violate the policy.
Finally, you can find further guidance about FCC specific issues within this help page.
Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or account updates, and we will assist you as best we can.
Regards,
Troy
