Variation listings for case packs

I have 2 questions regarding multipack listings.

[Note that the product doesn't qualify for the ABS option for bulk because it doesn't reach the volume requirement.]

I sell a product currently that is 1 pack of 100 units. I want to add an option for a multipack that is 10 packs of 100 units. Ideally they would both be variations of the same parent SKU. I used to create new parent/child listings with existing listings using the flat files, but the new spreadsheets aren't allowing me to do that. It keeps kicking out the older ASIN saying it already exists, but then won't join them.

My 2 questions are:

1) When asking me for units for the case pack, should I be putting quantity = 10, or quantity = 1000 (either way, my title and bullet points will show it's 1 box with 10 packs of 100)

2) Is it still possible to create a parent listing with 2 child listings when 1 of them is an existing ASIN?

Thanks!

Hello @Seller_JIL0QkeGgufq0,

Thanks for posting here. If you want to sell 10 packs of the single 100 packs, you would want to create the second pack as a 10 pack of 100 which would total 1000. The ability to create a variation would depend on the category that your listing in for the available variation themes. You can refer to the following help pages for more details about case packs and recommended steps:

Case pack recommendations

FBA packing video tutorials

If you have specific questions about your variation, please reach out to Seller Support and provide me with the case ID if you still need assistance after they complete their investigation.

Regards,

- Manny
