AMAZON'S SCAM
Amazon fraud
About 6 months ago, our amazon seller account was closed on the grounds that we listed and sold a product that was prohibited for sale on Amazon. Our balance in the account was confiscated.
The product we sold was the Evertech Smoke Detector Style Hidden Camera (B07N46VFT7). We reviewed the “Surveillance Equipment” section of Amazon's Prohibited Products Policy in detail. https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G200164870
The policy includes examples of allowed and disallowed listings.
Examples of permitted lists include 'Video-only surveillance equipment that does not record sound, such as hidden video cameras'. An example of a prohibited listing is 'Audio only or audio/video devices disguised to look like something not designed to record audio'.
As you can see, if the surveillance equipment does not record sound, it is allowed to be sold on Amazon. And the product we sell does not record sound. We have repeatedly sent Amazon proof that the product we sell does not record audio, only video, but the team insists on not activating our account and not keeping our balance in the account. Our latest appeals now receive a response within a few minutes. We know this is an automated response without reviewing our submission.
We are also unable to contact the account health experts by clicking on the Contact Us button. When we do, we get a warning that we are not authorized to access the page.
As a result, Amazon has unfairly confiscated our account balance and won't give it to us, even though we've actually fully complied with all the policies.
