What @Powered_By_AMZ has told you is the truth.

Even a cursory search of Forum posts will find HUNDREDS of stories about sellers being suspended for IP violations after ONE SALE.

ALI$##$ is NOT a trusted source for any seller unless they know exactly what they are doing.

It is basically a flea market for offshore sellers to unload their goods on unsuspecting people that have watched too many TikTok and YouTube videos about how to get rich quick.

THAT method died about a decade ago.......................

It is really easy. You find a very successful product on Amazon that is sold on Alibaba (There are a lot of third-party websites that also can recommend you the products). Contact the seller on Alibaba, buy the product, and they will send it directly to FBA.

FBA will receive the product in about 3-4 weeks then you start selling. In 2-7 days after starting selling, you receive a patent or brand or any other kind of infringement from Amazon but don't worry just ignore it because nothing you can do about it, and you will lose your merchandise and money.

Alibaba is a search engine, not a distributor.

You have 2 choices, suppliers and manufacturers to search thru. If you want to make your own product, you can find many great manufacturers, and you give them your specs, and they make & label it for you. But thats if you have your own idea or product.

Or, Alibaba has suppliers. You can search thru their suppliers, based on what you are looking to sell. You can obviously buy their products, and even put your own imprint, called private label.

Now you have to buy in bulk, and never ship it to FBA, Do it yourself after you inspect each and every one.

You could find out your item is gated, or there is so much competition that it will not be worth it . Then there is someone shutting you down, or infringement.

So at the end of the day, you never buy off Alibaba, they are a secure payment search engine for stuff from manufacturers in China. They have amazing sellers, but they wont tell you they sold the same item to 20 others, just like you.

But I would listen to the previous advise and not do it until you know a little bit more about selling on Amazon. You only get 1 chance, so do your research. Do seller university over and over again.

Alibaba can be a great resource, but if you thought of it, so did millions of other you tube watchers. Its not a get rich quick idea anymore.

Also, read and re read these forums, you will hear about accounts suspended daily. Everyone can learn from their mistakes.

I hope this helps, if it does pass it on. Good luck.

Alibaba is to the world what Amazon is to the USA. And yes, Alibaba is quite larger than Amazon in terms of size and sales. but there is one big difference between the two.

What's sold on Amazon, Amazon does work hard to make sure the product mees all USA standards and compliances for the product to be sold in the USA. The vast majority of the products offered on Alibaba do not meet these standards or compliances.

So, does that make any difference. Well, no if you live outside the USA. Most of Alibaba products are actually knockoffs of the real Brand name. They are sold to 3rd world countries who really do not care. They are also sold to many unsuspecting new want-to-be sellers who think they can be sold on Amazon. They are the Amazon sellers who do not know what they are doing.

These sellers buy the products sight unseen and have it shipped to an FBA center. After a few sales a buyer complains the product is a knockoff. They are suspended from selling on Amazon. Amazon asks to see their Manufacturer Invoice in the name of your business, and all they have is a credit card receipt from Alibaba. Their selling days are over, and the seller is left with a lot of dept which will never be recouped.

So go ahead and buy your product. That's when countdown to suspension begins.

Now with that said, thousands of successful Amazon sellers will go to the ASD wholesale trade show in Las Vegas August 2023.
