Help with Unfair Decrease in Account Health Score Due to Incorrect Classification
Hello Amazon Seller Community,
I recently had an issue with a product (ASIN: B0CXXCSST7) affecting my account health and I need help. Our product was incorrectly classified as an accessory related to e-cigarettes or tobacco products, even though it was just a USB charging cable for general electronic devices.
Situation Summary:
Originally Classified as "No Impact": Initially, this product was reported to have a "No Impact" impact on my account health.
Later Updated to "High Impact": However, a recent update changed the product's impact to "High Impact" and reduced my account health score by 8 points.
Unfair and Untrue Classification: Our product has no connection to e-cigarettes or tobacco products. Therefore, this classification is unfair and misleading.
Unfair Retrospective Application: Nowhere in the world are legal rules applied retroactively. Likewise, I expect Amazon to refrain from such retrospective practices.
My request:
I request that this unfair classification be removed and my account health score be reinstated. I have contacted Amazon's support team but have not received a positive response so far. If anyone has experienced a similar situation or can offer advice on this matter, I look forward to your help.

Upon review of your ASIN and product, this product is in violation of our tobacco & tobacco-related products policy:
Examples of Prohibited Listings
Electronic cigarettes and related products (regardless of whether they contain nicotine):
- E-cigarettes
- Non-tobacco, non-nicotine vaporizers (also called “vitamin vape” and “aromatherapy pens”)
- E-Hookahs
- E-liquid juice, electronic cigarette juice, smoke juice, or similar refill liquids
- Electronic pipes
- Electronic cigars
- Nicotine nebulizers and similar products
The ASIN is listed as being a USB Type A, which is a s allowed, however the images show a 510-threded charger which is commonly used for charging vapes and other related items. At this time unless you can show proof that this product has a different intended use it will not be eligible for reactivation at this time.
Please also be aware that you may want to review this policy and ensure all listings comply with it's guidance, as these types of situations can and will result in the accounts permanent deactivation if they are repeated.
