A-Z Claims auto approved
I had an order, where a buyer ordered a product from us, and instantly requested a return.
The item the buyer returned was a cheap knockoff, absolutely not an item that we sell in our store and pretty obviously much cheaper in quality.
I file SAFE_T claims quite often and know the procedure/ get 95% of mine approved. Since the return label was charged to us, we waited for it to get auto approved so we could file a claim to get not only our money back from the return label, but the cost of the item since we did not receive the item back.
In the 24 hours after the item arrived the seller opened an A-Z claim, which Amazon instantly approved, and it showed up in our closed claims tab with no option to appeal. I check Account Health and A-Z claims page daily, it was never in the "option to appeal" tab. And we couldn't file a SAFE-T claim with the A-Z claim on the order.
Seller Support has thrown me around and "transferred" me to the A-Z claims people, and every time ends with a dead end, no reply, and no case number given to me.
Now seller support is claiming that the refund was authorized and done by me, AKA they do not have any clue as to what even happened. I'm mostly putting this here with the hope that my case can get pushed through to the right people. Its only one order, but with very clear photos and evidence that this is a materially different product it should not be difficult at all to report the buyer, as it stands right now it is not even possible.
Anyone have any other methods of working around the buyers that know the A-Z claims system and abuse it?
