25b EPA EXEMPT listing pulled, please help
Hello,
We have a product that qualifies for EPA EXEMPTION. We have been selling it for almost 5 months with no issues.
We hired a PPC brand manager, who made some edits to our listing and it was pulled down.
We created a case to allow us to undo the edits, believing it was a keyword issue.
Our product was reinstated. We undid the changes, and reverted it back to all of the original content.
Two days later, it was pulled again. And now, we are stuck in the customer support asking for a Pesticide EPA Number nightmare loop.
Our product DOES qualify for EPA FIFRA 25b Exemption. We have supplied all of the supporting documents. We ALSO have our product registered in our state of Florida, and it also says that our product is EPA Exempt.
Every single ingredient on our product is listed as qualifying for EPA Exemption. We have included all of that information, but support keeps asking us for an EPA registration number.
Our Case Numbers:
14883447381 (original case where listing was taken down, then reinstated)
14911644031 (current loop with support)
@Glenn_Amazon, @Atlas_Amazon I have seen you tagged in similar posts, can you help with this? Or put us in contact with someone else who can actually help?

Hello @Seller_fFajtgc8Z2M9n,
Thank you for utilizing the seller forums. I hope all is well.
As you have mentioned in the title and in the thread, I understand that your listings have been pulled down even though it is 25B EPA exempt.

Per our pest control products and pesticides policy, pesticides and pesticide devices must comply with FIFRA and applicable state and local laws in the US including registration and labeling requirements. Pesticides and pesticide devices include the following:
- Any product intended for preventing, destroying, repelling, or mitigating any pest
- Any product that makes antimicrobial, antifungal, antibacterial, anti-mold, or pesticide claims
Pesticide claims include:
- Prevents, blocks, removes, neutralizes, or controls bacteria or other pests
- Sanitizes, disinfects, or sterilizes
- Resists mildew
- Removes or prevents mold
- A door knob that claims to resist bacteria
- Socks or shoes that claim antimicrobial properties
- A boat or automobile cover that claims to prevent mildew
- A mattress that claims to be antibacterial
- A dehumidifier that claims to mechanically prevent mold
- A pillow case that claims to be resistant to dust mites
- A "mildew-resistant" shower curtain
I understand that you have made changes and reverted back to the original content and the listings have been removed again.
Does the original content make any pesticide claims? If the product detail page includes these claims, the team will be asking for EPA numbers even if the products are EPA exempt. I would suggest going through your product detail page to make changes if need be. If you are not sure what changes need to be made, the catalogue team may be able to help you as well.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please reach out to us here in this thread.
Best,
Cade
