Amazon Buy Shipping.

We shipped an item to a customer on time with correct tracking and shipped on time using Amazon Buy Shipping.

It got lost on the way and the customer contacted us.

Per Amazon's own rules, they tell us to have the customer start a claim if they have problems.

We told the customer to do that and we lost the claim for some reason.

I appealed it and pointed out to the A-Z claim people that we use Amazon buy shipping and we should be covered.

Today we lost the appeal.

Here is Amazon's EXACT wording on Amazon Buy Shipping.

"A-to-z Guarantee claims: If you purchase Amazon's Buy Shipping and ship on time, you are protected against claims where a customer reports problems with delivery. Amazon will cover the cost of these claims and they will not affect your Order Defect Rate."

Does anyone have any info and how to get his reversed?

The issue may be if the item was scanned by the carrier when you shipped it. When they say shipped "on time", they mean the item was scanned on time.

Double-check the tracking on the carrier's website to make sure it shows a scan of them taking possession of it on or before the ship-by date on the order. Sometimes on the Amazon side it will show "carrier in possession" on the tracking for the label creation.
