Phrase Match Potentially Better than Exact Match?
Hey guys!
Just curious, is it sometimes better to simply run phrase match instead of exact match? Will the bids be lower in phrase match to reach the same position in the search as exact match?
I ask because I was running a phrase match campaign and the results were great, but once I switched the keywords over to an exact match campaign it seemed to drop in performance.
Any insight appreciated!

Hello @Seller_DPetgMN6a9UZU,
Thanks for the post here! As you know, keyword match types help control where ads may appear. I do think its good to experiment with your techniques and strategies to ensure your store maintains a strong presence n the Amazon store because buying trends are ever-changing. This could mean that you found the best match for your products are phrase matching. Using phrase match on long-tail keywords can help drive more relevant traffic to your ads. This help video reviews when to use phrase match in your keyword targeting strategy with a practical example here. Additionally, using exact match keywords could mean a higher relevance with lower potential exposure from your traffic. These videos are meant to help you discern the right approach for your keyword targeting strategy.
Kindest regards,
