Apply to sell?
Is there a way to make sure people need to apply to sell my products on Amazon after I have listed them? (my own brand)
This happens to us all the time when selling 3p items and we cannot list them due to the OG seller or Amazon not accepting our application.

If you happen to get help from a Mod please let me know. We were told that once we joined brand registry we could set a list of who could and could not sell our products. We jumped through all their hoops to get it set up and now all the amazon reps act like they have no idea what I am talking about. Even when i forward the previous emails where they told us this was how we could take control of our approved distributors on the listings. Now it just feels like we wasted time and money setting this up for nothing.

Hello @Seller_D1eGgHN6KPRgm,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and the simplest answer you your question is... it depends. I know that is not a real answer, so please, let me provide some more context.
First, I will point to the "We Do Not Enforce," section of the Report Infringement form
Automated protections are applied when you are successfully enrolled, this is referenced on the Brand Services site. This being said, if other sellers are still getting through these protections, that is where the Report a Violation process on the Brand Registry site comes in.
If you believe you have identified some commonalities or ways that other sellers are getting around these protections, I encourage you to provide that information to Brand Registry Support for review.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best, Dougal

We just love it when we go to list an item and it has Apply to Sell and Amazon wants you to apply for a brand that has nothing to do with the item you are trying to list.
