Invalid Charge Method but the card is charged
The dashboard says "Invalid Charge Method" but my credit card was charged. I opened a support ticket about this issue, and a few hours later it's marked "Answered" while there's actually no answer. Is it a scam?

Amazon will gladly charge against any card to collect fees.
However, you should have a valid CREDIT card for your account (some of the documentation states that debit is allowed, but that is hit-or-miss). And pre-paid cards are strictly not allowed.

Hello @Seller_jB4VCrvWubydv,
Thank you for reaching out. My apologies on the frustration this is causing. When you register as a seller, you must enter a credit card that will accept international charges and that has a valid billing address located in an eligible country. Your credit card will be billed the monthly fee (if applicable) or USD 1 (excl. VAT) for purposes of validating the card. For more information, go to Registration requirements by country.
If you have entered a valid or true credit card (not pre-paid or debit card ) for both buyer and seller side of your account and still run into errors, there may be an issue with your bank.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I do see that @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrwhas done a great job with some of the answers/.
Cheers,
Micah

Any progress on this? I think enough people are experiencing this to launch a class action lawsuit against Amazon. I have contacted Amazon every day since 4/7 and even had Discover on a three way call between me and Amazon to assure them my card is valid and valid internationally and all charges have been approved. If someone knows a good lawyer we should proceed.
