SKU entered is already being used in your catalog

My product is not shipped yet and I am having issues for over 2 weeks now to get my Listing setup correctly.

1. My initial listing was removed and I was asked to re-list it again

2. I deleted the complete listing (1 PARENT and 10 Children) and waited 36 hrs.

3. Created new Listings (1 PARENT and 10 Children) with NEW SKU's. Updated the new SKU's on the GS1 side as well.

4. The Listings in DRAFT (1 PARENT and 10 Children) were all OK. ASIN-SKU relations are unique.

5. On the Manage All Inventory page there are no errors.

6. I started Submitting the Children (10x) No Errors.

7. When I try to Submit the PARENT I got this message: "SKU entered is already being used in your catalog. Enter a different SKU and try again".

Now I have only the PARENT in the Draft inventory with the error message.

The SKU's are New and are filled out in the Parent and the Child.

I did not use the Uploader file.

Any ideas please?

I need a good listing to Print Lables to ship my product. It is stocked with the Mnaufacturer in China for over 2 weeks.

You deleted a listing and created a NEW one. For this you have to take NEW UPCs from GS1 for all children. The former UPC is in Amazon's database and that's why it tells you "already in use".

Hello! Amazon Support appears to be PURPOSEFULLY misleading. So I am seeking help here. I have the same issue with creating a PARENT ASIN for my 12 CHILD ASINS. I believe in paying for help and assistance. If you'd like to occasionally be my consultant, I'd be grateful. I already have 12 CHILD variations. The ONLY thing that I need is the one "PARENT" product. Amazon Support misled me and told me to use the template and UPLOAD my products. Crazy right???
