Test Buy for a Low Stock FBM?

Hi All;

I am Amazon branded. On my listing is a counterfeiter selling FBM with low stock (6 units). They constantly jump on my listing with low inventory. I did a test buy but it will not arrive in a week and by then they will be off my listing. My question is; how do I report them if they are off the listing?

Thanks

Are you enrolled in the Brand Registry?

If the above is not true then you will have to deal with this as a buyer and do the following. Assuming that this item is actually counterfeit, contact the seller through your order and let them know this. Open a return or an A to Z claim as is appropriate. Choose the correct reason for the return. Make sure that you follow through on the return and or claim. Within a few days the seller will now have to provide invoices to Amazon or face the potential of their account being shut down.

Since Amazon maintains an open catalog where multiple sellers may list on a listing so long as it is the same product, it can make it difficult as a seller to do anything without a valid test buy. If I remember correctly, the test buy is covered in seller help or seller university. I don't remember which.

Hello @Seller_W1tFzATWCqDHQ!

My name is JiAlex from the Community Manager team here on forums. I wanted to follow up on your post. In regard to this matter, our goal is always to ensure that customers shop our store with confidence. However, we consider a brand's enforcement of distribution policies and rules to be a matter between the sellers and the brand.

However, if you think there is abuse, you do have some options for reporting potential abuse, here are some additional details also explaining about the Test buy:

Report Abuse in the Amazon Store (overview video)- Provides overview of each reporting option in the Report Abuse menu in Seller Central.

• Go directly to the Report abuse page or login to Seller Central, go to Performance, then Account Health, then click Report Abuse.

• If you have a registered brand, you may also report a violation directly to the Brand Registry team.

Any assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support channel

Regards,

JiAlex
