Updating UPC Bar Code from non GS1 to official GS1

We have a really old listing that has a lot of reviews. It was set up with a non-GS1 UPC/barcode, We want to update that listing to have an official GS1 barcode, but still keep all of our reviews etc.

Is there a way to do this?

Updating UPC Bar Code from non GS1 to official GS1

We have a really old listing that has a lot of reviews. It was set up with a non-GS1 UPC/barcode, We want to update that listing to have an official GS1 barcode, but still keep all of our reviews etc.

Is there a way to do this?

Hello @Seller_YUtaEpvGQgcad,

Michelle at Amazon here. When you get a new UPC for your product, it will require a new ASIN. If the products are identical in every way, you can try to merge them yourself with the merge tool which is outlined in this post.

If this does not work, you can contact Seller Support to see if you can merge them, however, there is no guarantee that they will be able to, due to the UPC's being different.
