Bulk Fake Product Reviews
We are continuing to receive fake 1 star reviews towards one of our asins, B0CW3LHZR5 shortly after gaining the amazon choice ranking from our competitor in a relatively new product category…not suspicious at all.. These string of 1 star reviews are claiming diagnosed health conditions from a result of our supplement. In each instance between the time of purchase and the review left, there would not be enough time for these individuals (or rather my competitor) to have a medical test conducted, receive the results of a medical test of that nature and then be able to isolate this test result directly from consuming our product. Test results like these and isolating the medical condition to a specific occurrence generally takes months on average.
We have reached out to amazon multiple times regarding these string of 1 star reviews through the community-abuse-escalation@amazon.com email and the community-help@amazon.com email, we have done this near 50 times and haven't even got so much as a response back from them, nevermind a resolution or a further look into the situation. Furthermore these reviews are outright claiming our product is either fake or toxic despite us uploading and again sending to the community help emails, a copy of our third party test results and certificate of analysis that show all the ingredients are what is listed in the product and the passing grade of heavy metals and toxins tests.
Based on this , these reviews are fake at best and downright fraudulent more than likely and definitely violate the amazon community guideline for Libel, defamation, or inflammatory content. We would understand if these individuals left a 1 star review saying the product didn't work for them or they noticed no change but these medical claims and conditions with zero evidence are libelous and fraudulent. Our brand sells supplements across many other categories and we have fantastic ratings for all our other products and have never seen reviews that insinuate claims like this on anything else we offer. While we do understand some customers may not notice a difference in consuming our product and leave a 1 star review, which we are fine with, these reviews listed below are clearly fake claims that definitively violate the amazon community guidelines. In the brackets below you can see our evidence given for each..
Arashia Morris 1.0 out of 5 stars
"It speed up my heart rate. I would recommend talking to your doctor first before taking it, make sure it's right for you."
(literally bought the product and within 2 days left this review and then returned the product 2 days later, all these claims from having the product in her possession for 2 days..)

"This product is not good at all had severe side effets dizziness, irregular heart beat , very toxic product"
(how did he have time to be diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat between the time of purchase and leaving this review..again we have provided all our COA results for toxicity levels so this seems kinda slanderous)

"Label on bottle received had a severe warning for people with kidney issues NOT to take. SALES PAGE ON AMAZON HAD NO NOTICE OF THIS!!! Trying to refund was complicated because when trying to get a refund the site said CANNOT BE RETURNED. Only after I requested a call back was a refund issued. "
(this information is clearly listed on our listing as we are required to upload cautions and warnings whenever creating a new listing in seller central. Furthermore our product label is completely visible in our listing)

"No change no advantages"
(Reviewed our product on July 15, 2024 ,Reviewed my competitors product on July 15, 2024, it is literally the exact same product as we private label off the same supplier and use the same NPN why would someone need two of the exact same product and give ours a 1 star review and our competitor a 5 star review, if this review was legit how would he know which ones “had no changes or no advantages” if he was consuming them at the same time…this is not suspicious at all…)

Hello @Seller_ExdbYCi82GVL9,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns about the 1-star reviews your product has been receiving. I understand how frustrating it can be to receive negative feedback, especially when it involves claims of health issues.
After reviewing the details you provided, it appears these reviews are from customers who have experienced some concerning side effects after using your product, such as increased heart rate, dizziness, and irregular heartbeat. While we always want to provide the best possible experience for our customers, it's understandable that some may have adverse reactions to supplements, particularly for those with pre-existing medical conditions.
In this case, I would recommend the following steps:
- Carefully review the feedback and see if there are any common threads or patterns that could help identify the root cause of the issues reported. This may provide valuable insights to improve your product formulation or usage instructions.
- Reach out directly to the customers who left the negative reviews. Offer to provide a refund or replacement, and see if you can better understand their experience. This open dialogue can help build trust and potentially resolve the situation.
- Update your product listing to prominently display any necessary warnings or contraindications, as you mentioned you have already done. Ensure all relevant information is clearly communicated to customers before purchase.
- Consider consulting with a medical professional or relevant industry expert to further evaluate the claims made in the reviews and determine if any adjustments to your product or labeling are warranted.
You may also find the following Amazon help pages useful for further guidance on addressing buyer feedback and product reviews:
- Customer product reviews
- Resolve or respond to buyer feedback
- Answers to questions about product reviews
I know it can be disheartening to receive negative feedback, but focusing on understanding and addressing your customers' concerns is the best way to move forward. Please let me know if you have any other questions or if there is any other way I can assist you.
